This is my first post. We have had our 12.whatever Expander for 6 years and the insect screen in the canvas over the bed is pretty tatty. Plus I have a zip that no longer plays the game.
Has anyone removed the canvas for repair and if so is there any advice you can give me. I don't want to get it off and then not be able to reinstate.

I personally would not attempt it as any good camper/tent /canvas repairer will do it for you relatively cheaply. They know all the tricks. If you put on your profile which state you are in somebody will be able to suggest where to go.

We put new ends on ours , $400 for the smaller $450 for the bigger , took two weeks from jayco and are a more modern grey colour not the old poo brown , very easy to remove and fit , just an option , ours were in fairly poor nic

Just a hint with big zippers. Spray the sliders and teeth with Inox. Salt water plays havoc with these zipps, but after 9 years mine are still servicable.

Hope this helps.
