I think we discussed that before if I remember.......I got my son a 2lt Escort many moons back, what a great thing to fang around in, loved it but typical pommie car a mongrel to work on.....We still talk fondly of it, just a plain green paint job no bling , just looked like a school kids car, a discerning eye would notice the exhaust but peddle down and it would launch....

My $hitbox car mad brother had a mint RS 2000, not all that long ago. He recently sold his pimped up Fiat Bertoni X-19, he has an RT Charger under a tarp, 2 x Bronco coupes parked in the front yard and a Bolwell mk7. Add my Chev C30 to the list. Its like a junk yard, and I keep telling him get rid of all that crap and just buy a decent 4x4

More caravan park talk.! Group gee up session yesterday re best tow vehicles.One guy with a year old Ram 1500 extolling the virtues of the diesel engine Ram 1500 ,great motor ,towing capabilities better than any ute etc.Had to tell him that it came from Fiat .VM Cummins mob and had been in the WK 2 series Jeep for years.Nearly swallowed his whole can of Northern.Then told me a new motor was about to be released,yes I told him an updated higher torque version .
On a side note ,a brand new Roma van here in park nearly lost its ac through the roof,plus the owner had it weighed direct out of factory over 200 k over the plated weight now the proverbial has hit the fan.Roma caravans taken to court recently for understating weights and fined.

Did you point out though that the engine in the Grand is 184kw while the RAMs is only 179kw, but both have a 3.5t tow capacity........ I have worked out if you throw the tub, add an alloy flat tray and put a shed on top you can get another 150kg load cap on them....................... our Export model Grands have more grunt than the Yank ones.
