Hi we are new to the forum although been looking at it for sometime. We are looking at upgrading from our eagle camper to a 18.57-6 OB. As we are in Hobart there is only one Jayco dealer. Wondering if anyone can give us any idea on prices being paid for the 18.57-6 OB. Any info greatly appreciated.

Hi janematt,
Welcome to the forum, we love it, sure you will find everyone friendly and helpfull.
We picked our 18.57-6 OB up in November and absolutely love it. Pricing will vary a fair bit dependent on options. My advice is get your wish list together and then go in and negotiate. I would also ring far and wide to get your best price and then go back to your local tassie dealer and have a crack at matching. We had most of our options decided at sign up but added a few after and you tend to pay full fare.

Hope that helps.

Welcome janematt. :welcome: Holden_man has given the best advice, get your wish list together and then get on the phone as far and wide as you can. It is amazing how much members have saved by buying interstate from their home state. Even just calling other dealers will give you a guide to prices but some members who have a similar model may be able to give you a rough idea.

Good luck with your hunt.

Hi guys and welcome. We just ordered a 16 foot expanda and did exactly what Holden man is telling you to do. It was amazing to see the difference in quotes, yet most dealers will match or beat others. Have fun and take your time with it mate.
