Preventative Maintenance

Hi guys,
Come accross this through a friend of a friend of a friend.
Their camper wheel fell off causing substantial damage to it. to make matters worse they left it on the side of the road (to get later) and somebody pinched it!!


Needless to say ALWAYS Check you wheels,tyres and nuts

nobody was hurt in this, but some pride was!

I'm looking at this on my phone so the pic is a bit small but it looks like the stub axle has bent. I wonder what caused that to happen.

Glad to to head no one was hurt though

Same thing happened on our last trip into QLD only just getting out of Broken Hill early morning to hear my mate screaming over the uhf HEEEELP ive lost a wheel.Lucky i have a sat fone and called for help back in b/ hill 2 days later back on the road

A Mate of Mine from Busselton here in W.A. has come up with this Idea after having a wheel come off on a trip up North a few years back
