Hi guys,

Thanks,

G'day Glenn Photobucket has an app and then you can post your pics up via that.

Edit: sorry just noticed you didn't want to use photobucket, hopefully someone else may help I dont have an iPad so I cant help you there :noidea: Expanda may have a suggestion for you though

You should be able to post your photos as per normal to the site....

What is happening when you view the site on the ipad?

If you are getting sent to the mobile style click the button down the bottom for "Full Site" and you should see the entire site functionality.

Expanda,

This is what you see on an IPAD, missing the option to "select a file"

Hi Cootay
An iPad doesn't really have such a concept as a directory to choose files from.
Ever heard of "The Cloud"? iPad uses that. For photos the cloud is photobucket or smugmug or a million other online options.
That's why select a file is disabled.
So create an account on photobucket, upload pics to there and then use the URL option instead of the file upload on this forum.

Whilst Photobucket works, other apps, such as facebook etc can access files from the photolibrary / camera roll. Just a lot less effort required.

I'm not sure if forum apps such as forum runner etc may support use of photo upload directly?

Thanks Brad. I've had a photobucket account for a few years and understand the concept. Other sites have the functionality to select form your iPad (or iCloud) photo album and upload. No big deal, thought it might of been an easy fix

Can't get it to work! What am I doing wrong?

OK. Ready. Have this page open in iCabMobile.
click on Quick Reply below this message
click on the Insert Image icon (tree thingy 3rd from right) in the menu bar at top of new message box
...the Insert Image screen opens
select "from computer"
Click on "select file"
Select "JPEG"
And small file size "320px"
New screen opens
click "photos" centre bottom icon
select "photos" in box (same icon)
And your Photos folder should come up
select the pic you wish to upload and
click "upload file(s)
Good luck.
