Well here is my 14.44/4. Not the first time it has been featured on this forum, however no longer a "Cane Toad" with its NSW registration.:spider:
Gleaming after a polish.
Takes up a little more room on the launch pad than the Eagle!

Just started the mods.
Turned the tyres around and spayed the drums with black high temp paint.
Got rid of the dodgy Jayco solar box and replaced it with something that is a tad easier on the eye! Gave the roof a polish as well:bounce:.

First off, many thanks for the various contributions and ideas posted on this forum that have enabled me to choose and implement my mods.

Been a busy chap the past few weeks. :bolt:

First off is the table in the front, dinette conversion complete with cushion, voltmeter, sound system, and extra bench light.

Definitely have been busy and on behalf of other members we were glad to help you spend your hard earned $'s :D

Out of curiosity.... Where did you install the second speaker?
Looking at options for the addition of a stereo in ours!

Thought long and hard about the second speaker. Limited options in the smaller van. Placed it in the kick panel below the table. You can just see it in the photo of the dinette conversion.

Thanks @PhilW
Didn't notice it in the other pic... Suppose I'll decide where to put them once a location for the head unit is decided (Dependent on speaker cable runs)

We've only had our 2012 14.44-4 for a month now and the only thing that didn't fit from our old camper was the table. Now it does! Brilliant idea.

Keep up the clever ideas.

After some research and concerns about the inside temperature of the van with the existing cover, I dished out some dosh and purchased a custom made Stormcover.
This is my third cover from this company having had one made for the Eagle and also a Finch that we previously owned. They are a terrific product and keep you prized possession in "as new" condition.
The cover also keeps your van dry and safe from hail.
Takes around 10 minutes to put the cover on. Roof section first with a couple of straps to hold it in place then the left and fight hand sides are zipped and also strapped in place. The Zips are then protected with a heavy duty Velcro seam.
Better mention ........I don't work for the company or have any affiliation with them.....just think they punt a good product:).

Here are a few pic's.
We got a door opening put in the cover.
Cord was not long enough on the iron to remove the creases!:spider:
