Hey all

Just came back from a week away at Yamba NSW with the Expanda (pictures coming) where we got a few days of torrential rain. We noticed that with the new annex that we just got fitted that there was a bit of water leaking in through the underside of the awning where the awning was in the track. Inside the van stayed dry though, love it!

After playing with the tension and the setup of the annex, we couldnt get it to stop. It wasnt specifically coming in through where the screws were and I checked that the sealing was good on top.

I did however adjust the level of the van to drop down about an inch lower than level on the front and the problem went away. It seemed that the water was pooling inside the track and not running out properly if the van was level.

Just wondering if anyone has has similar experiences...

I don't have an annex but found I get water dripping along the stitching where the awning sits in the track, some form of seam sealer should solve the problem, yet to do mine

Pitty we did'nt know, we spent the night in Yamba last thursday on the way south!

Cheers drewy. Did you stay at the Blue Dolphin? We watched a few nice Expanda's come through the place, even a big new base station.

I will remember to post prior to travelling...

I have this problem Bushman. Was pooling & dripping through when A/C was on. Could adjust levels but not the point. Did you fix it? What did you use? Thnx in advance. ;)

No to be honest I haven't fix it and the next time it drips on me I'll curse it and remember I haven't done it

A good quality seam sealer stick or similar from the camping store should take care of it
