Our new van arrived last Saturday. Miserable weather to pick up from Jayco dealer however bonus was no leaks found. We had some driving rain in our 95kph drive from Ballarat to home and all good with van.
Dealer was comprehensive at hand over and could answer most questions. Managed to fit WDH from unboxing to driving van out in about 20 mins. That was rather impressive ( said he had done about a thousand or so).
Not many options above standard:

picnic table to annex side
outback pack
dinnette converter
battery pack
control panel
extra water tank to rear (added at dealer after factory (unfortunately))
full bartlett annex with provisions and some extras

some things were changed from ordering to delivery by factory: front and rear are now fibreglass panels not aluminium and 2 windows to bunk area are sliding instead of wind out like display was.

Nice looking van mate. Did Ben fit the hitch for you? We thought the service at Ballarat was very good.

Jayco fitted new compliance plate before delivery after request to raise ATM to 375kgs from 300kgs due to additional water tank. This was not a problem for them in fact increased ATM to 400kgs. We will never carry that much but nice to know. Tare is 1527kgs and ball weight is 147 kgs. Ball weight was primary reason for second water tank to rear of van. This will be used to offset front tank to equivalent amount. Hopefully this will maintain ball weight and stability. Ball weight was initially a concern as unoptioned Jayco tech info had ball around 185kgs and wasn't aware water tank was forward of axle. This was a heavy ball weight for a relatively small van. This is why tank was added at dealer not factory. Would have liked this info prior to sign up.

No problems front bed mattress is 1320mm wide at home double mattress is 1365mm wide so only 45mm less. I believe the bed width increased in this model a few months back about 150mm or so. Besides sometimes bumping into each other isnt all bad:angel-87:Is it possible you tried the previous width bed? Good length too. I think around 1955mm long from memory and I am just over six foot so have found some too short. Friend had a windsor rapid and that was a little on the short side. We much prefer the east west bed orientation allowing alot of space inside with small tow package. Bonus bed nook allows for tv stand and hidden dvd player, books, power, radio, antennae point, 12v points etc within arms reach.

On the plan we signed it showed innerspring mattress as 1320mm wide when originally ordered. That was a couple of months ago.

27k sounds pretty good. Ours came in at about 30.5k plus 2k for full Bartlett annex with extra window, door and storeaway room provision. thought this was pretty good but we didnt order too many extras. We have been camping in camper trailers and caravans and feel we have had enough of bed setups and our style of travelling means we dont stay more than 2 or 3 nights so being able to pull into a campsite with beds already made and setup is fantastic. This small van still sleeps 3 adults and 4 kids if required. 2 adults in double and one in raised single bed full width of van and 2 kid sized bunks on the long side. Of course dinette converts and can easily sleep 2 children. This would only be required if the kids bring friends and would be rarely used. Not really looking for anything bigger and wasnt too many vans available with this bed setup in this price category. Love expandas though and the extra living area they provide.
