Location: Racetrack Rd/ River St, Mitchell QLD beside river at weir.

Pets: Yes but on lead.
Pool: No, and I wouldn't swim in river... Pool and Spa baths in town 2km away

Facitities: There is potable water and toilets available, old but clean, bins provided. Dump in town at showgrounds.

Comments: Large area so no need to camp on top of each other, easily fit a hundred or so vans, tarred road in and pretty hard surface to camp, mostly flat ..... Only thing is every second van lights a fire to smoke each other out, fires on ground left unattended .............. saw one get away by some fool.......... Place seems to attract the diminished IQ camper........ I might go back if I must but won't stop again............ Butchers in town is great...
