Does anyone have any good ways to test a manual water pump. Mine is not working, but if you hold your hand over the stem you can feel suction almost as if it's working in reverse. Not really on the priority list but a good to have.

If you can feel suction, check that the shut off valves to both tanks are open. They are under the right side of the van forward of the axles (in ours in anyway).

Oh.didn't know that b.o.d.ours was the internal grommet in the hand shaft come away.needed a wire to prise it out then re position it on.cheers.

We had ours replaced by Jayco on the first service. Jayco said there was a large batch where the grommet was installed wrong, and thus they failed. Apparently a known problem....

I had one fail on our van as well, ripped out the old one and it was replaced no questions asked by jayco.
:mmph: I'm not the original owner nor is the van less then 12 months old. No matter I guess I'm buying a new one...
