NSW Mannus Lake - Tumbarumba - Free Camp

Location: 6 kms from Tumbarumba on the Jingellic Rd to the turn off, Lake Mannus Rd, then 6 km along a well made dirt road to camp by Lake.

Pool: No, lake.

Cabins: No

WiFi: No

Pets: Yes but on lead and usual pick up.

Mobile/TV: Telstra a bar or 2.

Facilities: Toilets, boat ramp,picnic tables.

Comments: 2 large flat fenced off area's by a lake with boat ramp, one area for day use, one fr camping both well set up , tables, toilets, even a fish cleaning bench......no fires on ground, need a pig or brazier but idiots have lit on the ground......Water levels very low at time of visit but is still a great spot.
Nearest Dump and potable water is Tumbarumba.....

Drover,can you pop in town and do a pie review from the bakery in Tumba. good pies.
Spent a lot of time in Tumba - Tumut area, a couple of favourite spots are Paddys River Dam in Bago forest and the Blowering Dam shore line camping accessed thru the Bago forest via Batlow.

Bakery in Tumba still excellant, a couple of good free camps around the area for sure.

The sugar Pines walk a few K’s out of Tumbarumba is well worth a look
