The park is right on the Murray River in the heart of S.A.’s Riverland in the tiny village (yes it actually is a proclaimed village) of Lyrup.
Features include;
Powered camping for up to 3 days
4 powered sites so it’s first in first served. Not that I've ever seen a rush of any description
Honesty box, $6 per night per vehicle
Sites can accommodate large vans
Male and Female toilets but no showers
BBQs, picnic tables and bins
Next to the Lyrup ferry
Concrete boat ramp within 100m, great for a tinny
Lyrup has a local Community Club and small General Store and is 15-20 mins from the larger Riverland towns of Remark and Berri.
This is a quiet, clean, cheap place for a day or two layover with a chance to do a spot of fishing or yabbying.

One of the many places now setting up a good stopover point!
