We have really enjoyed our trip down great ocean road and we thought Lorne would be the same the park is split into 4 separate parks out from same office, lovely staff. The first site we went to was on river front down the bottom and it was that wet we just kept sliding! We went back to office and they moved us without hesitation to the top bank, which was mildly better. What we didn't realise is that it is public access with the public walking and driving through and part of the amenities is public toilets. The playground is public and I did not feel safe there at all With young children. Amenities were unclean. The sites were hard to get onto and we had to park sideways. We got there at 4pm on daylight but by 6pm the vans were banked up trying to get on sites in the dark while public traffic trying to get through as well. The price was quite high so overall I would not recommend it especially with children. Real shame as it is lovely spot
