Bluey, I hear you loud and clear and Dan has painted a bad picture today and looks like we are heading downhill fast. I am guessing he knows more than what he is saying to come out as strongly as he did.
I can cope with staying in Victoria for a holiday as long as I can do that.
So you are not able to go to the worksite? I get the joy ???? of teaching from home on ZOOM and yes I am all Zoomed out.
@1DayIll, no matter how hard it is for you at the moment, be thankful you are NOT in NSW. They do not even look like coming out of the Covid curse for weeks or months, maybe not even by Christmas. And look at the spread too!! We in Queensland are hanging in there while the police and now the ADF are valiantly trying to hold back the Covid hordes from the south. One mistake and we will join NSW!!! We had our little lock down in SE Queensland when several school kids caught the virus and took it home to Mum and Dad. More than 14,000 suspects in home quarantine including my GP and Ophthalmologist!! Bloody lucky to get out of it, as all (or most) did the right thing to stop the spread. And restricted life in Queensland is becoming less restrictive at last. But no going interstate at all. When entering Queensland, if no proof of at least one jab and you are turned back, or if a Queenslander, you end up in hotel quarantine for 14 days at your own expense!!
I feel for all you Victorians, but at least you have a fighting chance of coming out of your Covid pandemic in Victoria , despite your man Dan giving you a hard time in lock down. Remember, Covid came into Victoria from NSW. After all, you have only a few dozen idiots roaming around spreading the virus, NSW has HUNDREDS!!! Stay safe and good luck!
