G'day all
After a month of waiting my LEDs have arrived. I had these in my Previous van ( Hawk )
and was impressed with them but wasn't sure of how much power they saved so this time I run them through the ammeter
they will save me more power in the Expanda as I have 3 times as many lights ( 9 just inside the van )
They are 48 SMD leds warm white

All 9 lights on prior to changing them 11.59 amps

After changover 3.64 amps

great power saving and good lighting too

I bought 10 off Ebay for $25.80 and free shipping ( hence 4 weeks delivery )

Can anyone help me with how the annex light comes apart I feel like I'm going to break it

I am sure I saw another thread that said there is a lot of silicone Holding it in place and just had to be patient with it.
But someone else may have some better advice.

Thanks Guys
boots33's post is ecellent, I wasn't expecting a light with a globe you have to change to be siliconed on
You can change the globe. It just takes an hour and a half (up and down the ladder) find a blade to cut silicone, depress the little clips on each side without snapping, prise top off, the undo a couple of screws without dropping them.

Wouldn't do it twice. Replaced whole light fitting with LED version. Wasn't expensive and exact fit.

G'day Hiluxpanda
They came with 3M doublesided tape on them, just stuck them on
I had them in my Hawk for 12 months with no problems

Awesome. If you got them off eBay could you post the link so I can price them for my van?
