Pet friendly (outside of school holidays) park situated on the shores of Wallis lake. A mix of permanents, cabins, powered and unpowered sites, pool, camp kitchen, BBQs, small boat ramp. Amenities were clean. Waterfront powered sites have Austar. Stayed at a waterfront site (W11) that backed onto a small backwater. With a southerly blowing, smell was unpleasant; okay if winds from the north. Don't think smell would be a problem with other waterfront sites. Lake foreshore covered by weed. Great spot for kayaking and lake fishing and watching beautiful sunsets over the lake. Short drive to Forster mall and Forster CBD and the long stretch of Tuncurry beach. 3 bars on phone (Optus). Overall a very enjoyable stay and would definitely go back.
