This was booked as a quick one nighter on the way north. But it was one of those little gems where you could happily stay longer.

Firstly entering the address into the GPS says the street didn't exist. The management confirmed this and said something about the council not recognising the road as a real road (but they still pay rates on it of course). A quick phone call once in the town resolved very simple directions.

The sites were grassed and large trees provided an amount of shade. It is basically a ring road with drive-throughs in the middle and grassed sites around. None appeared to be marked, so the host guides you to where they want you (although following the directing would be easier if you still knew where you were s'pose to end up....)

Amenities were old style, but updated and in good clean condition. The kicker tho was the pile of freshly laundered bath mats provided for anyone who wanted them, with just a note asking not to steal them, and place them in the hamper when done. :thumb:

There is a lake/pond/dam/something in the land adjoining the park, which whilst being non-accessible gave a pleasing outlook. A pool and playground capped things off.
Within walking distance is the licorice/chocolate factory and the RSL which had some top notch food.
