Do you have any issues with the head height when sitting on the bed end?

We are after one of these but am unsure of the head height.

Hi @Ayay,
You can sit up at the end of the bed to get changed etc.

I guess everything is a compromise however with the addition of the Annexe it really makes the whole outfit a very comfortable van. It has plenty of head height as it follows the angle of the rear door and plenty of room for two.
We tend to sleep in the van and live in the annexe.
When it comes to TV time etc, we set that up in the van and the chairs in the annexe complete with the fan heater in winter... warm as toast.
I am a real convert to this style of camping having had a larger Expanda. Love the size and ease of everything . Awnings are a breeze to put up with shade on both sides of the van.
My advice is go for it...every time we set it up we could sell it to someone. They are a great concept.
The JPod does not have all the comforts of a larger van and there sure are things I miss!:behindsofa:
Hope this helps.

Hello, just came across the forum after looking for some advice. My wife and I recently purchased a jpod lite after many years of camping in a oztent. We went for the lite and had it supplied with the roof racks, I have been slowly decking it out with a few extras including homemade kitchen slide, awning. Have hit a bit of a hurdle with the battery management system. We like to do free camping and have found it a little difficult to get good advice, I have a dual battery system in the Prado, a kick ass 120 ah battery box with a projecta dcdc unit. I will move the battery box between the lite and the car. My question is, when I move the box to the lite is it best to disconnect the bms in the lite and run my battery system separate or connect it to the bms through the battery connections on the unit?we run a 40 Ltd Engel and 3 led light strips. Apologies if this has been answered before, I have only signed up to the forum today and don’t want to upset anybody.any advice will help before I start a trial and error process.

Phil- love the annex.

Regards Craig and Louise

Latest update on the JPod. Purchased one of the 1800x 500 stone guards from Campsmart to protect the vinyl front on the van.
Damn good piece of kit, easy to install and for $240 I reckon, good value for money.

Hey did it fit the A frame easily? They want $60 delivery on top of the cost. I found the same one on eBay for a bit cheaper but it says the A frame internal measurement must be 415-750mm. Jpod is 360ish. How was the fit? And any mods needed?

No mods needed for drawer bar width. Fits with plenty of room to spare if you are buying the one as detailed above. Not sure where you are measuring from. Mine measures 410mm just off toolbox
Packing needed for the depth of RHS...... easy fix.
Fits like a custom mod.
