Hi All

We finally purchased a 16.49.1 Expanda and am looking into a few things to add/modify.

I have found the Jayco mud flaps for sale on a few online suppliers but I haven't seen any mounting kits or instructions?

I would appreciate if anyone has them factory fitted to post a few pics of how their mounted.

Cheers.

Yep thats all they seem to do, whack them on with a couple of Tek screws with some big washers. actually I find them to be a bit small, need to be wider and a bit longer if you have a bit of height, I certainly wouldn't buy them from Jayco....................

Jayco dude one holds them somewhere near the chassis and Jayco dude two fires a tec gun from the other side of the factory.

As per the pics posted here, theyre not mounted with much thought at the factory. Theyre all rubber (no metal at all), and because of the unsupported 'freelance' outer end, our flaps twisted with the air pressure of driving.

I grab some pics of how I mounted mine

Bunnings 20mm gal perforated angle tec screwed to chassis wall support, mud flaps then tec screwed direct to the chassis wall support, over the top of the anfle. Mud flap end section then sandwiched between the angle and a 20mm gal perforated flat with pop rivets to support the pokey outie hangy end bit. Worked for 50k km
