Over the weekend I ran into another Jayco owner who told me I should check the external air vent for my fridge. After taking the plastic cover off I found to my surprise there is a metal sheet that is blocking 2/3rds of the air vent and sending the hot air upwards instead of out the vent (same as the other owner). As it is only a new van and used a handful of times I did notice how warm the bench above the fridge was getting but thought that might have been normal.
I've got a Dove outback, has anyone else seen this problem? The trailer is under warranty so I will get in contact with Jayco but could be a serious safety hazard if left unchecked.
