I was up at Jayco POrt Macquarie last week and saw a 2012 Starcraft. I didn't mind the plastic step as it wont hold all the dirt and crap of the current one and easier to keep clean, but yes it does look cheaper. The one i looked at had the dark blue trim which looked nice and the new colour bench top. Really dark, but looked great against the lighter wood finish...It is darker than the top photo one. Cant say I am turned on by the red...

addition of the new window is great, really lights up the bench (us shower model owners wont get that), its good that in photo4 if you notice they have changed the wood work behind the sink to not overhang as a T join and now made it a 90o corner. also i see that they still have included curtain loops to hold them together unlike install on the entry door. thats my gripe over.

Hmmm.....
That plastic step looks like an opportunity to do a mod.
I have seen on other vans other than Jayco a step done out of highly polished checker plate.
When I get my new van I think I will investigate the possibility of changing that plastic step over.

Went and looked at the colours in the flesh yesterday dealer had pretty much all of them...

Red - Horrible, looks like a 60's van, would hate to wake up to that after a "few" cans

Green - Horrible, looked like a 70's van

Brown - Looked okay, easy on the eyes

Blue - Didn't mind this colour it was very nuetral

For me I am going the dark blue and they have a new bench top which looks like marble but in gloss.

I don't where they come up with these fabrics but you have to ask the question???

They actually hire in interior designers to advise on the 'in' styles for this season.
I'm happy to always be years behind in the latest fashions

But that red is a shocker...

We have ordered ours in the dark blue. Thought it was the least offensive of the lot. Hopefully be ok for resale value too. We were interested to see what the green looked like in the flesh. I think I am glad we did not go with it.

Not impressed by new colours shown on this forum - you know you can order back rest colour to be the same as cushion (base) colour - we did that with our van...check out out my other posts if interested......
