hi just a simple question about running a 12-240 volt inverter
is it possible to run an inverter from a battery and plug the inverter into the inlet power on the van
so instead of plugging a power point in from a avn park i would run a lead from the inverter into the van
the only things that will be plugged in would be a tv and ipod and very rarely (quick lunch)a microwave
the inverter is big enough to run the microwave
im just trying to avoid running the gennie so diamond can watch tv or if we are sitting outside listening to the ipod.
the inverter has 2 outlets but i dont want to run leads around,
on our trip last month we were having pies on a stop heading home so that ment getting the gennie out getting the lead out starting the gennie for 6 mins use and then putting it all away again.
i have 320 watts of solar power to charge during the day but tv/ipod usually only on for a cpl of hours
thanks heaps if you can help
cheers jim/tab and diamond
