Electrical HWS 240v on off switch replacement

G'day, Thanks to others on this forum I replaced the Suburban HWS 240v on off switch. I found it easyer to remove the brass pipe & the black element cover. Had to jiggle to plug out . Here's some photos that may assist others.

Looks pretty corroded in there? Good advice, also re check the joins you disconnected with soapy water with the burner on whist being careful.
