Located away from the Western Highway, so no traffic noise - tucked in behind the Show Grounds and Botanic Gardens and on the river, the caravan park is easy to get into and suitable for big rigs.
There are plenty of spots and quite a few drive-thru sites. Looks like power, water & sullage to almost every site.
A great place to stop when travelling between Melbourne and Adelaide.
2 Adults, 2 Kids - 10% discount for RACV membership - $42.30
It appears that dogs are allowed - provided on a lead and quite.
Very clean amenities.
Plenty of trees, a great path for a walk along the river bank, riding or skate-boarding.
There is a convenient council provided Dump Point out the from the caravan park.
Only negative my wife could come up with is that the site was blue/metal gravel - not a lot of grass sites.
Will make this a regular spot to stay as we head back and forward to Adelaide.
