Hi all, been spending a lot of time on here since getting our new (to us) 2013 20.64 Expanda in July last year. Thought it about time I introduced myself and started making some contribution to what has been and continues to be a great resource for those new to caravaning!
So...a bit about us...
We are heading off in July this year for a 3 month spin around the big island! We have ambitious plans to go up the middle, across the Kimberleys and down the west! Undertaking this journey with some good friends (we'll see if that's still the case at the end!) in their Jayco Hawk and Mrs D's father and brother in their camper.
Our little unit is Mrs D, myself and our 7 kids! (Aged 4 to 15) Our traveling buddies have 4 kids and the brother and father-in-law have spare seats in the Ranger...hence the invite! Some say we're brave...mostly say we're mad...everyone says what an amazing experience for the kids!
As time permits I hope to have a thread on the van and our tow vehicle (LC200) in the appropriate section of the forum. Maybe something in the trip planning thread so you all know when to clear out ahead of the incoming tribe when the time comes.
Have had a go at attaching a photo...not great of the van - parked up beside the house.
