[Stone Stomper]

My name is Christian and my wife and I have two kids and an 08 Expanda 16.49-3 O/B towing with a SR5 TD D/Cab Hilux, we also manufacture the Stone Stomper Stone Guards for the full range of Expanda's.

We have made many mods to the Expanda for ease of use and dust proofed and water proofed the van for our outback trips, a write up here on our 3month trip

Hi Fair-Dinkum,

Our kids are now 5 and 7 but we started our first one camping in our soft floor camper when she was 6 weeks old, also had 9 weeks in the kimberleys when they were 3 months and 2 years and no DVD in the car.

Fantastic! We went camping with our two girls (4 and 6) in a tent relatively early too. I don't think you need a DVD in the car. Our girls don't have them and we have lots of discussion about the things they can see outside as we travel. After all, we survived without DVDs and made our own entertainment!

Thanks Bigman, delivery seems to take forever but well worth the wait.

That's right Fair-Dinkum we have a DVD in the Expanda and they look forward to rest time before tea and so do we with a bevy.

Also we try not to do too many K's a day pulling up just after lunch giving the kids time to run around.

Don't get me wrong - DVD in the van is a MUST for us for the same reason as you. Rest time for the kids and bevy time for us ...... :high5:
