The compressor (I suppose thats what you call it) is under the robe at floor level. There are 6 huge holes cut in the floor for vents, these are right behind the wheel. My concern is that the fins will get damaged with rocks, covered in dust from the road.
What do you use to cover this outlet or do yu onot worry about it ?

Depends on the travel you are doing....

When I had one of these on our first van we just left it but we where always on the highway.

If we where going dirt roads I would have probably sealed them with a rubber piece which was removable and removed it when setting up.

I am sure the others who have done some under body sealing will chime in shortly thought :)!

Having the same thought of covering them up for dirt roads. Not to sure how though. Thinking of Velcro, but need to remember to remove cover when air-con in use.

It definately needs something, I will work out what's easiest for me.
I image something thats solid but will also keep out the dust.
I can't go past a track without findout out ehat is at the end.
The wife hates it, but is was her choice to buy an OB

Cheers

Brings up something else, Jayco dealer in WA does not have service facilities, ut advises us to go to one of 5 different repairers for warranty work. Seems a bit of a fob off to me, the dealers don't get to see the disappointment from some of their sales

I rang jayco head office and spoke to the warranty guy and explained it and he orthrised the dealer to fix it.
I also had a issue were the aircon drain was right next to the door, they said that no one has complained, that was a bit had to
believe but same thing they told the repairer to run a pipe to the other side of the van.
