Great Idea!!! You can utilise some of the small spaces really well. For eg we are using the small cupboard near the hotwater system to store our pod coffee machine. The Aldi one fits perfectly. Not as great as our full machine at home but much better than instant!

I reckon the Aldi machines are great! I use mine in the house as well as in the van and now that you can get hot chocolate, the whole family is catered for.
My machine wont fit in that space though.........because of this,

150l fridge so the heron 2.2 head unit is where the microwave would have been (I think!!!).

Can manage without a coffee machine, but a wine rack...now that's what I call an essential modification. I'm sure I can find similar spot.

Coffee machine is the essential item for us, love a good coffee :tea: hate instant. We now need to work out which coffee machine to purchase for the van and where to store it.

We Just carry a plunge coffee maker but do have an aldi froth machine for capaccinos. I am quite happy with black coffee and we just carry our own grind.

Yep looks interesting. we will be taking beans, and have a good grinder to take. The home machine is to big and heavy to take with us, and a little to expensive. Looking for something that makes a pretty good coffee for <$500. The gaggia's seem to have good reviews.
Maybe a thread required " which coffee machine for traveling" will do a search first

I've got that spot earmarked for tins of beer (I'm getting into the spirit of the intrepid traveller by making the switch from stubbies to tins without complaint), but brother, do you know you could easily fit 3 x 4 litre casks of quality wine in the space you've fitted a meagre 4 bottles? You're thinking smart, but you've gotta take it to the next level man!

You've got the quantity right on your units of beer, Turtle, I'll say that much for you!

I'm about to start packing our van for the first time for a month long trip, and I'm discovering there are quite a few nooks and crannies to stash away extra stuff. All that's missing is a bloody big cupboard to put all the things you want ready access to!!

We use a nespresso for the van. We love our coffee also and have a big machine at home. Nespresso is a good compromise between portability of machine and coffee quality.
