Opel have closed up shop in Australia. Here one minute gone the next. Glad they didn't make caravan capable towing vehicles.

That's probably the reason they closed!

They are the European Brand of GM, sort of a German Holden. For some reason they decided to launch here a year ago. Also Melbourne FC major sponsor. Best known product would be the Astra. Holden used to source them from Opel until a number of years ago.
