G’day all I thought I should introduce myself now I have joined the forum and joined the ranks of Expanda owners. I recently brought a 2010 14.44.3 Jayco Expanda Outback, some of you may recognise the van and for those who don’t I brought it of chatrock who is a moderator on this site.

He brought the van brand new and he and his wife have looked after it extremely well so it is tip top condition. My wife and I are converting from a Lifestyle Explorer camper trailer to the Expanda and we are looking forward to the creature comforts and easier set ups that come with having a van as opposed to a C/T.

I got it home just proir New Year’s and only had enough time to read a couple of the manuals and start packing some of our gear in to it before I had to fly back to work. We are planning a shakedown trip to the Sunshine Coast in the next few weeks.

The van has all the bells and whistles that these units can come with and whilst chatrock had added several mods in his time with it I already have a few ideas up my sleeve that I have picked up from reading through the threads on this fine site.

Welcome @axl , we did the same as you, moved from a Lifestyle Extenda to the Expanda (14.44-4) and love it. So much easier than the camper trailer. Enjoy the shakedown and you will get heaps of info from this site.
