hi all, I was coming back from Minnie Water to Brisbane yesterday and saw a front window cover for a Starcraft outback on the side of the road, there was a giveaway sign stuck on! Sorry I can't recall exactly where it was, south of Yamba maybe an hour or so. I would have stopped to pick it up but at 100ks not exactly easy to do! If you're in Brisbane a couple of hours driving may be cheaper than replacement parts!

They are prone to blowing open particularly when a road train is going the other way and you get that wall of turbulence. I rarely open mine and make sure the catches are locked before leaving a site. I also duct tape the right hand side of the flap to seal it closed when entering big truck and road train country. Not pretty but it works. Turbulence from passing trucks cant get under the flap and blow it open.

We had a flap destroyed a couple of years ago when turbulence blew it open.
