17' Series found a 12v outlet that I didn't know existed

mucking around in the van this arvo I found a 12v outlet. It is located on the cupboard facing the front of the van, you may or may not of known it existed due to the curtains.



Its there for the TV but ours is located in a different position, hence why I didn't know it was there.

they connect to the stereo... comes when you get it factory installed. Don't know if i would ever use them though.

Mine has one in that spot too. Don't remember asking for it though. maybe if you option the 12v TV they fit it so you can still use that when not connected to 240v.

Must be standard on the 2011 mdl mine is a 12/10 model and I'm sure it was an option but not much extra though hwell:

Little things are always changing, we use it charge our phones etc t is very handy.

Nah it's standard, though mine was faulty, can be used to run TV if 12v compatible, (mine is) got the lead from Jaycar, our wasn't fitted with the RCA plugs as they didn't do DVD's in 010 models, though I run my TV 240 normally (if on power) I sit tv on top of wardrobe where is out of the way had extra powerpoint fitted there and aerial came with 12v socket. Just wish I had of thought to get 12v at the rear bed.

I have one of those too..above the kitchen under the microwave.. Thats were my TV is mounted now.

We picked up our 17.56.1 yesterday with battery option and no socket?????

Checked the plans today for our 17.56-2 due in November - they show a 12v outlet on the side of the nearside cupboard. Guess we will have to wait and see if it actually is there.

Jayco only use to fit the 12v socket as part of the OutBack option maybe things have changed
