Well we went to Brampston beach for a couple of nights in our brand new second hand bought
Jayco discovery outback 14.45 poptop 2008 model,it towed excellent with a the new underslung axle configuration, so much easier than the camper trailer we generally take, however everything has its place, I mostly run the power off the Honda 10 generator but also had me solar power connected just to try it all out.im gunna have to look at how we use the water as we went through 90 litres of water pretty quick.but all went well.

one thing I have found with the solar (that I didnt like)
you need to have the Van in the full sun for them to work
which in turn heats the Van up............

a friend of mine has portable ones, that he used to move them around to catch the sun
his brother has a small wind turbine - works great on the South coast.............
something like this...........
