Very nice.

We have the 17.56-2 due Nov with pretty much the same.......gone for the Splash Taupe / Orion Fleck upholstery, Rare Earth Laminex and Oxyd Beige Tile Floor.

Thanks for pics of the wardrobe with the 150 ltr fridge.........are the shelves standard or options? We have also gone for the Heron aircon with the microwave under the cooker... how is the cupboard space under the microwave, OK?

Nice van, congrats & enjoy!

Your van looks great. I didn't realise there was an option with the kids ladder will have to check that out. can i ask what a rear drop flap is...hubby not home to ask.

bank of dad the shelves were an option for us. we elected to have 4 spaces though (i think) and it was around the $100-$120 mark from recall.

Good work on the ladder, we picked our van up on Friday and I moved the ladder down the end the next day. I think Jayco must have changed the ladders, the old ones were vertical ? One of the reason we upgraded from the Swan was that when we were cooking, the kids couldn't get to their bed end without climbing all over us or the furniture. The ladder causes the same problem. Having moved it, it looks much better. We told Page Bros what we were going to do and they agreed it makes a lot of sense. Reckon only a matter of time till will come like this from the factory. Will take some photos and post tomorrow.

Here are photos of the ladder now relocated. Works much better and with a bit of TLC it is very hard to see the old screw holes. I also moved the bedrail to the middle which was a bit of a job as was tough to remove the screws.

Pace, When you unscrew the bedrail, good idea to get a really good fitting screwdriver, the screws can burr (?) pretty easy.

I started unscrewing mine last night to see hard hard it would be. Looks simple enough....
But, my ladder is completely vertical, which is why the kids have problems with it. Looking at all the pics here, everyone elses' is angled.....

yes it is the 5 stepper ladder not sure which model it is out of, i brought it from page bros in seaford for about $100. I got the taller ladder as it felt a bit safer for the kids, may stop them rolling out from that end! It is attached via 2 L-shaped brackets covered in heat shrink, it is pop rivetted under the second top ladder run and just slides in under the original jayco ladder bracket which is attached to the facier of the bunk. can take close up phots if u need, when it returns from having warranty jobs finished.

Just have a look at our ladder vs stand new ladder do the kids have trouble at the top as my ladder the steps go all the way to the top and they have hadle to grab onto and something to guide them where to go down

My ladder is also of the vertical type. They've obviously changed or optioned the other ladder since I bought mine.
Mind you, my youngest is 7 and has no dramas climbing it, plus I can easily lift it up onto his bed during the day to make it easier to access his clothes drawer under the bottom bed.

My 8yo is up there and complained she doesn't feel safe climbing it, and up and over. If we had the smaller fridge, Jayco cuts a handhold in the panel next to the ladder, but nothing otherwise. I have a handle sitting on my desk at the moment to be fitted to help her, but also just got back from the shop at Jayco factory with a longer ladder, which I'll refit like Salsimo's. ($100)
