Had a quick look to see which options you've already gone for but can't find it at the moment.

I think the options list suggests if you opt for the external shower unit then they throw in the tent but what type would be interesting.

You might save your $30 but then again it might be a special super designed model specially for the van and easy to pack up, set up and stow.

Will watch with interest as I haven't seen that listed as an op

Just out of interest I was checking the specs and options again on the Jayco website and according to the below photo it comes with a shower tent.

Cheers

Az

Thanks @AzHaych

I'll have to look into that. Sounds good...but I'm unable to location on the web site and the PDF download? It seems to have only "External Shower".

I'll ask the dealer about it.

Yes for now I'm unable to get HWS external due to weight. @Crusty181 Thanks for the info in tents and portable shower unit. I've been looking at both Coleman and Cube. Also interesting about the water storage. thanks for that.

Anyway, on board is not an option for me - till I get a new tug. sooooo...maybe if the neighbors do to get loud....I'll just have to shower in the open:high5: - hope its not cold :redface-new:

:fish2: I don't fish much...my friend loves it....its a bit like fishing...takes forever to get one.

On another note - Gumtree confirmed your selling your van....reminded me to delete the search. :)

I got the external shower fitted as an option and it came with a pop up tent. I'll have a play tomorrow and get some picks of it. That's if I can set it up >:( the internal shower works a treat :)

Well had a play and know why @Drover doesnt use his pop up tent. I have put it pride of place in the shed and that is where it will stay. As far as the shower can definitely see it becoming very handy down the beach as well as for cleaning any real dirty things you don't want to clean in the van. Like BBQ plates, camp ovens and the like. The hot water there is a treat. Definitely recommend this as an option but don't stress if you can't find the tent in the van, I have one here if anyone wants ito_O

Jayco wouldn't put the ext shower where I wanted, so I cancelled it to do it myself later. Ive lost interest in the shower, but I thought I might mount a single ext hot water tap to wash greasy cooking stuff

Thats been my plan just add a HW tap next to the cold on the draw bar........maybe one day....maybe.

If you leave a hose plugged into the one on the draw bar, with water in it it gets damn hot when you get back from the beach.

Having the shower in the van we didn't go the external shower option.... If the grand kids are dirty they just get sprayed with the hose fitted to the drawbar tap then thrown into a warm shower to warm up :violin:.... Certainly teaches them to brush themselves off before entering the van ;)

By some quirk of fate, we as grandparents neglected to get a van in which we could fit the G/kids, pity we miss all that sort of fun, their parents have to tag along with their tents...............................enjoy my g/kids without the horrible bits.

@12Enjoy thanks heaps for the pic. Now I know I'm not missing much. I did call the dealer yesterday @AzHaych and it seems you get a tent. But it looks like I'm not any better off going Jayco version....

So Ebay add a new skill to Linkedin here we come :biggrin-26: - do they come with an extractor fan for the loo? just kidding
