External fold out table.....lock

Hi guys,

Just took delivery of our new 1649.2OB, love it so far. One thing I cannot understand is why do they use a key operated lock to open the external fold out table. Has anyone managed to create a mod that gets around having to use a key every time?

the table is key locked, so not so nice people dont open the table without you knowing and you driving off with it out.....
