Has anyone mounted checker plate storage bins under the rear of the expanda, behind the water tank. Looking for a kind of box to store fold out chairs or any ideas so I don’t have to store them in the van when travelling with the family.

Have seen them, not sure if they were a success, if you run a string line from bumper to base of rear wheel anything inside the line (between string and van) shouldn't get clobbered on normal approach angles, outside the line stands a chance of getting hit, of course if you gutter jump then anything behind the wheels and lower than the chassis rail can get hit.........
