Ensuite Light Height

Does it need to be the ensuite light?
There is one light (above the kitchen I think) that is also controlled by the light switch on the wall beside the door.
Can the kids reach that instead?
Also, if camping at caravan parks, we have a night light plugged into the power point in ensuite that is activated when it is dark. But obviously, that solution only works when plugged into the mains.

A three-LED, push on- push off battery light ($3 from Coles or Safeway) should do the trick. Attach it with removable 3M mounting tape at height to suit youngsters.
