Does heavy duty suspension increase tyre wear?

Around the same time as I had heavy duty springs and shocks fitted to the back of the Navara by ARB, I also switched tyres from HT to AT, but the same brand - Goodyear Wrangler.
I've noticed that the tyres are wearing quicker than before - got 70,000km last time but guess I will be lucky to get much above 50,000km with the AT tyres.
Do you think that the suspension is increasing the wear, the tread pattern, or that the first tyres were made in Germany but the AT set was made in Asia?

No the change of springs set shouldn't change the wear unless the wheel alighnment done after didn't take into account extra height etc.........I ended up taking mine to a steering specialist to get things sorted and all good, also tyre pattern will change the wear, the more chunky the tyre the more wear if you are mostly on hard stuff..................Also play around with tyre pressures don't take the plate as gospel depending on your load or just what youvé added ie: bar, canopy etc means a few extra psi in the tyre is needed.

If you only changed the rear which gave you rear lift then you would have shoved some extra weight onto the front end which changes the dynamics as well, if the front is good but the rear is wearing then pressure or maybe just crap rubber. Pics and description of wear pattern required.

The tyres were inflated to exactly the plated pressures, provided I can trust my pressure gauge. The rear tyres have worn evenly in the middle, suggesting over inflation. The fronts have been ok.
Only the rear suspension has been changed with the front still factory standard, so no need to have alignment done. The fronts aren't showing any sign of alignment issues.

I don't know what it is but to me I never get the same mileage out of the second and subsequent sets of tyres and brake pads than what I do on the first factory fitted ones on vehicles from new.

No issue with original brake pads - just clicked over 100,000 km and checked the pads last weekend when rotating the tyres and I'm guessing easily still another 20,000km left. I don't like braking and try to drive with cruise control and consistent speeds so other than when hauling 3t behind me, the drive train is carefully looked after.

the other part is

yes, the tyres made in Asia are crap compared to the European ones

and

HT tyres wear slower than AT, as @Drover said, the tread pattern is good, but it helps wear quicker
also, some brands wear tyres quicker than others

all to do with how much tyre Carbon they load into the mixture

Sounds normal @pauljygrant maybe a touch over pressure on rear but for ute's thats pretty normal, I try to rotate mine around 10K but being a more aggressive tread mine are wearing away but mostly on the edges, though they aren't under inflated just a crap cheap tyre, I'll be going for the Wrangler AT next, not by choice but I have a brand new one as a spare so means I only have to by 3, I'm a tight arse.

I'm running heavy duty suspension and have had AT and MT tyres (BF Goodrich)

I run 50psi all round and usually get around 60,000ks per set and even wear.

I also try and rotate every 10-15k

The tyres themselves make a huge difference
