Dinner Plates...

Ok back to basics...

What does everyone use for there dinner plates in the caravan?

I usually have melamine in the van but looking at getting some duralex glass wear this time around....

What is everyone else using?

Melamine for us but we also keep a stack of plastic disposables as well for easy clean up. This weekend only had a bit of cutlery and some cups to wash up.

Melamine and Corell. Wife likes the glass type of Corell.

Hi Expanda,

We actually just use re-usable plastic plates. These were very cheep and work well for us. I like the idea of having some disposable plates for o/night stop overs etc. I hate dishes......

We use "corelle" from bigw and woollies. We've been using it or 3 years & no breakages yet!

This question rings a bell! Wife today bought more melamine platters and bowls from local $2 shop.

We use plastic plates, they stack neat easy to wash and they dont seem to slide around in the cupboards. They are also nice and light too.

We have melamine plates to put in our new van when we get it! Wife has been very busy organising this stuff. Bless her. :dance:

We have been using melamine but decided new van needed something new. Have Corelle at home but didnt want to spend that amount , so brought a square "corelle type from K-mart cheap as,
12 piece was $20 no cups included but we didn't need those anyway. Square stacks better...

we have melamine, bought as a set from bcf. Cups,lg & small plates & bowls. I think about 25 bucks.
