Melamine for us but we also keep a stack of plastic disposables as well for easy clean up. This weekend only had a bit of cutlery and some cups to wash up.

Hi Expanda,

We actually just use re-usable plastic plates. These were very cheep and work well for us. I like the idea of having some disposable plates for o/night stop overs etc. I hate dishes......

We use plastic plates, they stack neat easy to wash and they dont seem to slide around in the cupboards. They are also nice and light too.

We have been using melamine but decided new van needed something new. Have Corelle at home but didnt want to spend that amount , so brought a square "corelle type from K-mart cheap as,
12 piece was $20 no cups included but we didn't need those anyway. Square stacks better...
