In a bit of dilemma and would like to seek the brains trust.

Looking at car colours but have some concerns for both bright and dull colours.

Having had a white car and a dull car the darkish grey pathfinder probably the easiest to keep clean and the only one to not show up pin stripping to much was the white car which I couldn't believe.

So what do you all thing and what has your personal experience been?

____________

Bright colours - Main concern is scratches will be more evident when introducing the new tug to the local wildlife. What do others think as much as I love pin stripping concerned it will just look nasty and very evident?

Dull Colours - Concerned about it getting dirty very quickly! Currently the Pathfinder gets dusty / dirty very quickly and its annoying. What do other think?

I Dont like any of those colours. Mazda has a much better range! LOL

Ok, so I like white. All my cars are white, like my teeth.

Out of your preferences I like the gun metal grey. For me it doesn't age as quickly and you can laways wash it. I think the brighter colours show more imperfections and seem to age quicker. Just my 2c worth.

Yer but mazda asks for 20k more lol!

I love my white Jeep! So - white.........

Yes white seems to be a common theme!

I went white for the same reasons doesn't show scratches as much doesnt look as dusty dirty much, easier to be seen foul weather etc. Mine is actually a pearl/metalic white.

Another one for white!

I like the gun metal grey but my hubby would of picked the blue, especially when we got our ranger, it wasn't my pick. ended up with silver. But what we all really should be wanting is a good reliable towing rig.

Light coloured metallics will show light scratches much easier.
I've always been a fan of darker metallics as they look brilliant when clean but will dull a bit when dirty. I'll never get a black car again.

Just be careful with the current crop of white cars that are actually a pearlescent white, much more expensive to repair and scratches and touch ups are harder to conceal.
If you like white, I'd recommend a solid white instead.

living in a mining town, the last colour I would go for would be white!! They are everywhere, and whenever I see a white car at an Auction or second hand, it always crosses my mind "Has that vehicle seen mine service?" I personally like grey and like how it goes with the majority of accessories that are black, the compliment each other nicely.

@expanda I went the white after having red and gun metal grey in previous 4x4, I found them to be hard work with scratches. At least with the white you can usually polish the paint and hardly even notice the scratch or scratches. White generally doesn’t show up the dirt so they tend to look cleaner as well. But in saying that I do like the metallic colours but I find them higher maintenance to look after. Good luck
GO THE COLORADO!!

Don't go for black, whatever you go for just don't do it, My Jeep is black, my Harley is black and both look fantastic on the od occasion they are clean, that red looks okay even if its not a propper red like ford have, actually I think I saw the white the collies come in and from memory its a vivid white which looks good also, maybe the blue, yeah I like blue if it was a ford, fords colour is blue, silver, probably looks okay, depends on which silver Jeep have a lovely silver as well, what the heck go BLACK why should I be the only silly bugger to have black???
