Found the Expanda lid was getting too hard to life (2 solar panels and roof top air con), with my sore shoulders, so have purchased a full height Coromal with separate Toilet and Shower. Also, having to remake the bed each time we setup was becoming tiresome. Had to then raise the car port roof so the van would fit. Then we went up north to Ellendale Pool to check it out.

Didn't notice much difference when towing. Have to put down the jacks as the Coromal does move a lot more than the Expanda. We often didn't put the jacks down on the Expanda when stopping overnight. Also the Coromal water tanks are a lot smaller, so am about the swap them out. But, we are pleased with the extra cupboard space and the separate shower.
Here are some pics of Ellendale Pool - east of Geraldton WA.. Also a pic of the Wreath Flower - the reason why we went up north.

Those wreath flowers look like they are on the road outside of Pindar where they just line both sides of the road.

They are an amazing plant and were a "must see" when we visited WA.

Just returned from a 3 month trip around Oz to site see and also visit family/friends. Perth to Karrijini, Port Hedland, Darwin, to 3 Ways, to Townsville, Then Rockhampton, Gladstone, Sunshine Coast, Brisbane, Goondawindi, Wilcannia, Broken Hill, Minnipia, Streaky Bay, across to Esperance, Hopetoun, Hyden and then back to Perth. The Coromal Element was upgraded to take a heavier AGM with stronger tyres and electric Break Away. Also increased the water tank capacity.
Did as much free camping as possible and would highly recommend Wikicamps and not Camps7 or 8.
Too many highlights to do justice for the many enjoyable places we visited, but Karrajini, de Grey Free Camp, the Leitchfield Water Falls, Julia Creek free camp and Hopetoun would be at the top of the list.

Now planning on doing a trip up north in August. Up the coast to Exmouth and down inland to see the wildflowers. Out to Kalgoorlie and back to Perth.
Went up to Sandy Cape a few weeks ago and put small dents in two panels so will get that sorted prior to our northern trip.

Enjoyed the Wildflowers @ Mullewa, Coal Mine NP and Beacon.

Am looking at putting a Generator box on the back as we get the petrol smell with the generator in the back of the pathfinder. Will put the spare under the van in front of the water tank and then enuf room for the box on the back bumper along with the diesel tank for the heater. Want to check our Tow ball weight & GVM before I get too excited.
