Passing inspections seems a bit hit and miss.
My 17.56.2 OB came with RWC and once the van was delivered, I gave it the once over.
3-of the 4-brake's electrical wires were hanging in the breeze, must have been interesting pulling up.
Jayco needs to sort the brake wiring. It hangs in the breeze from chassis to backing plate instead of from chassis, along trailing arm to backing plate. One route is cheap, nasty and quick, the other workman like and very unlikely to be damaged.
Handbrake was also a laugh.
Van came with DO35 Cruisemaster hitch, not factory of course.
Handbrake lever could only be applied about 3-clicks before it fouled the standard Jayco 25x25 RHS welded across the drawbar.
Upon reading documents that came with the van, Jayco had serviced the van and advised the owner of this problem way back in 2016 at it's first service.
All sorted by me straight away of course but makes me wonder about other vans on the roads. Especially supposed "Off Road" designs.
