I must say anyone towing a van must get a EGT gauge and maybe a bigger exhaust for there car I really drive by it now my water temp is fine but powering up a hill today I reached 600 degrees on the EGT gauge which is far to hot you can drive all day at 550 deg but if it starts going over that its getting very warm 590 deg its time to back off and as soon as you do temp drops it is fantastic cause I know what im doing to the motor even when water temp is under half all the money on crap things we bye we should invest in thing like this to watch the performance and heat in our motors cause over time heat is a diesels enemy and will hurt them and can shorten there life ,,,,,,,, I can only guess what I was doing to prado powering up hills thinking it tows great which it dose but I was probably helping to cook it internally pistons getting far tooooooooo hot !!!!!!!! so it will be money well spent if you plan to keep your car for long time just my half penny
also ran cable for the van when I fit the camera to it its going to take a while to get courage to drill into roof of the van my luck 20mm off centre DOH !!!!!
yes may do that to but think better job on the van ??????? up out of way will decide somethingI mounted the camera on top of the rear wheel bracket @Bluey and ran the cable under the van in a conduit.... No requirement to drill holes in the
That's almost identical to my setup. Works well.Wires run up inside the square tube...... If you do it this way just make sure you leave enough slack at the bottom to allow for the swing down/up action! Get a good view from behind!
