Perhaps if Jayco had installed the sinks in these with the bowl to the right then a drawer would have been possible??
That's right Bill but it makes it more awkward to do the dishes ( have to reach further) because the drain board would be on the left then. We had a van where we had to reach into a corner and didnt like it.

While installing heater I had to remove a panel from between the seats that covers the wiring - not easy - it was installed and fastened before the side wall went on - impossible to remove without damaging/destroying it.

HENCE - the following - new timber panel made up from pine - this will be removable. Photos show it sitting in position - not fixed yet.

Thanks for the kind comments - now for this weekend's job......when we purchased our Expanda it came with a microwave - we very seldom use a microwave, so we gave it to some young family friends who were just moving out of home. This meant we were left with a space above our fridge - initially we just put jackets etc in there.
I have now made a drawer to go there using the drawer hardware from the drawer we lost when I installed the Truma gas heater. This new drawer will be used as a grocery/pantry drawer.

I had to pack out the sides of the space - photo below shows what I did.........

Another view of spacer section showing drawer runner in place and aluminium angle on the bottom edge to attach to base of space........

I also replaced the hot water anode this weekend - see photo below......it's interesting how little was left after 18 months and probably only 2 week of use!!
