It's an interesting concept.
Not sure I'd use it though. 2000lb is approx. 900kg so would only be suitable for small towables anyway.
Certainly nothing like an Expanda.

The further away from the hitch receiver the towball is would have an adverse effect on weight transfers, stability etc...
