16' Series Bed end storm covers

Hi, does anybody tow their expanda (pre 2008) with the bed end storm covers installed in their tracks.
If so, what clever thing have you done to the ends of the tracks to stop them sliding out and ending up on the car behinds bonnet.

We used to leave the storm cover on the back of our 2007. There was a small screw screwed into the end of the sail track on each side which stopped the bagged cover sliding out as the cover couldn't slide past the screw head. I don't have any photos though as we no longer have that van. I'm guessing that a good sized dob of silastic may do the same job.
