Located a short drive from Byron Bay's CBD, the park has a large number of resident cabins, with some powered sites scattered through this area. The park also has large areas for campers, some with power. There was a kid's play area and a swimming pool. The park was quiet while we were there but I imagine it would be very busy in the warmer seasons or when festivals are on in Byron. Amenities were clean and tidy with plenty of hot water. A cafe was located on-site that served very good coffee and light meals. Wi-fi was available for a small fee. A walking path beside the park provided access to the beach. A sign along the path warning of brown snakes being prevalent were a little off-putting despite the weather being cold. Dogs were allowed to run off the leash on the beach. The park was pet friendly outside of holiday periods.
