Battery Box Size

Hi all,

We have ordered our 17-56-1 OB Expanda without the 100 amp battery as have been told to get a 120 amp for roughly the same price.

Can anyone tell me the battery box size in the 17-56-1 OB and/or recommend a suitable 120 amp deep cycle battery??

I can measure the box later as I have the seats out at present. The vans come with a 100 amp remco. Personally I would change it back and get the battery. I paid $300 extra for a second 100 amp remco battery installed with box, fuses and wiring from Jayco. That same battery is $400 at BCF or Batteryworld by itself. Then because Jayco include it, the weight and it's bloody heavy 25-30kg+ is included in your GVM. No brainer really of you really want extra capacity go two batteries.

This is the battery they fit, and it's pretty neat in the box.

Don't forget you could just change the box out to suit your 120 AH battery?

Measured it up. It's 340x200x200 plus the lids give you another 30-40mm.

Btw my batteries are not Remco but 105AH Neuton Power AGMs
