So, after deciding that having an auto would be helpful for longer drives with the missus, so she can share the load, needing a bit more space for another baby seat and generally just wanting a nicer rig, I settled yesterday on a 2015 NTrek GU patrol.
100,000km on the clock.
Out of the factory it's got;
- bullbar
- warn winch
- rhino roof rack
- arb awning
- snorkle
- 2in lift
- heavy duty towbar
-HID spotties
The previous owner then added;
- boab rear drawers
- uhf
- welded intercooler
- oil catch can
- diesel tuned for pulling a 2.5t van
- 3in stainless exhaust
- additional 12v everywherr
Absolutely love the rig. The suspension is a bit more floaty and the steering not a sharp as my old navara, but a 2in lift will do that.
First changes once I've sold the old navara will be ripping the head unit out for an androud auto/apple car play one, rear camera, dash cam (don't trust NT drivers), usual sheepskin seat covers in the front and canvas in the back for messy kids.
